Lena Kaminski is 22 years old and the youngest child of the Kaminski's. You may know her oldest brother, Jacob (

snoopsrus ). Like him, she's human. Or - close to becoming one again. Right now you might know her as Cinderella, a large, black, Norwegian Forest Cat.

HISTORY
There was a time when Lena was super conscious about her skin color. She knew it was Different and those few years she spent the majority of the time holed up in her room. It was Jacob showing her all the weird business of Siren Cove and if no-one would worry about that, they wouldn't worry about a dark pearl on a white pearl necklace. He was also the one to point the library out to her, after another brother teasing her that she had the same name as the first dog in space. Jacob told her that if you knew a lot, it was harder for people to tell you things. Basically, although there is an eight-year age gap and there has been times when he was absent, Jacob is the number one guy in her life.

Lena blames the witches, especially the Grimhildes for being turned into a cat and shooed away. It was their grounds she was walking on all those years ago (she just wanted to make photographs), there was a discussion about catty little girls and next thing she knew was following a guy named Bach because he took care of her for some reason. It took her years to break through the cat mind of things, and knowing Levi Astor (a detective!) better than Bach and his weird life (so much sex, gross), she decided to try to move in with Levi. Even though she felt a little bad about it. Jacob, her dearest big brother, was pretty much not an option. His huge dog was literally and figuratively in between them.

As the youngest and only girl, it was hard to not be pampered and loved in the already tight-knitted family. Lena was adopted when she was two, but neither she or her family ever made it into A Point. She is a Kaminski, you can recognize it from the curiosity and easy family love. She discovered photography at ten and - unsure about how this was a hobby, passion or good future job - her parents both worked hard to get her the education and material necessary. First she followed her brothers everywhere, ready to be the Nancy Drew of their lives, until she discovered that a photograph is a complete different creation when you have to find the image by yourself.

Before the change she was in high school, an okay student with a soft spot for geography and maps. Lena had a vague clue about becoming a teacher or a professional photographer, but was sure she would discover what she wanted in the next few years.

PERSONALITY
Lena is middle of the road, not too mean, not too friendly, okay with floating through life and town. She has a sunny look on things, but never naive. It's her photographs you can read her moods from, and her mother often enough told her to stop disappearing behind that thing. Sometimes she wishes for a grand, adventurous life, but her comfortable life and her family here in Siren Cove are too appealing to leave behind. Maybe one day, right? The only thing one could call 'quirky' about her, is her love for ear rings in any shape and size.
She has/had a few friends she shares different parts of herself with (one for school, one for chatter about pop culture, the other for future dreams), loves her family and for her, that's enough. Before the change she was pretty okay with 'all that magic stuff', but coming back from it she's going to be cold (so cold, where's her fur, no that was not her fur), angry and very suspicious about witches. Think of her as an abused shelter cat.

OPINION OF THE RIVALRY
Before she was 'blah' on the rivalry, found it a bit weird to walk around with such an issue for so long. Now she will side with the 'witches need to be contained' state of mind.

LIFESTYLE
When/if found, Lena will move back with her parents to recover. She'll have to drop all her cat habits and get used to humans again - as a human being. It's a question if her friends are still around for her. It's another question if Lena can even handle being in Siren Cove right now, with what she's been through. All her other questions (even that one about the difference between a girl crush and being in love) pale in comparison to that one.
